The McKenna's

I had the pleasure of photographing this precious couple last week. I think I can speak for most photographers when I say it's not a common occurence to have a 90 year old lady call about having a photo session with her husband. She expressed that her kids said all they wanted for Christmas was a picture of them. ( Way to go kids! I can't even get my parents to step in front of the camera.)  They were so sweet and still laughed together.  I can only hope and pray that my husband and I are granted that many years on earth together.

I really needed this today. It helped put things in perspective amongst the pile of Christmas cards, albums and orders on my desk. Just to stop and remember the important people in my life and to enjoy each moment.

I really can't believe She is 90. I want to know her secret!!

FAVORITE WEDDING MOMENT - Lauren + Jason

I am on the road heading to Ohio with my family for Thanksgiving, and I told my husband I would do my best to LIMIT my working while in route...

But I just CAN'T STAND IT!!!!

Last night, we shot this wedding...

As I was shooting, I just was in "AWE"...

JUST LOOK AT THIS VIEW!!!!!!

As I look at these images again, the only word that comes to mind is "BREATHLESS"...

The Guests watched from across the pond seated on farm benches...

So that brings me to my Favorite Moment of the wedding...

As Jason and Lauren were saying their vows to each other...

A flock of ducks flew into the pond in front of us!

Even though I missed capturing the "flight in" as I was focused in on the bride and groom on the hill, I was able to capture them swimming back across in front of the bride and groom as they sealed their vows with a kiss!

Congratulations to Lauren and Jason!

Thank you for having us to capture your AMAZING DAY!

Lisa and Amanda

P.S. Enjoy a "sneak peak" of a few more from the day!

Wood Family - Sneak Peak

I had a BLAST shooting the Wood family last week!

Who wouldn't have fun with these two little red-headed FIRE-BALLS?!?!?

Thanks Natasha and Joe for having me do your session!

(And whenever you are ready to get rid of the jeep, let me know! Ha Ha!)
