Rebecca & Dow 1-1-10

Candles, candles and MORE candles...a glow of the fireplace...a room full of their closest friends and relatives...That was the quaint and romantic setting on the first day of 2010 when Rebecca Young-McDonald and Dow Stanley were brought together as one.

January 1, 2010...the first day of the new year...the first day of a new decade...the first day of a fresh start and new beginnings...

Rebecca and Dow were such a joy to photograph! She was SO stunning and he was her "Prince Charming" as he doted on her all evening!

Jill and I truly enjoyed taking part in this wedding as the couple and the entire family holds a dear place in our hearts...notice the little boy "cutting a rug" on the dance floor. Did you notice the resemblance to Rebecca's son who stood up as Best man? Or was it the "moves" that only a "Young" could pull off! Yes, that is Lisa's son, Tripp!

It was so fun to shoot a wedding and watch Lisa enjoy one as a guest! (although she did end up playing coordinator...I guess she felt out of place without a camera in her hand!)

Congratulations Rebecca and Dow! We wish you all the blessings that life has to offer in your new beginning together.

Talbot-Beasley Wedding 12-31-09

New Year's Eve 2009...what a great day for a wedding!

Hannah Talbot and Reggi Beasley, along with 70 of their closest friends and family, gathered on what is already an exciting day each year to celebrate one of the most exciting days in a couple's lives!

How wonderful it was to spend part of our New Year's Eve with such a wonderful group of people!

The sweet ceremony was held at Pawley's Island Community Church in the quaint little chapel there, and the reception was along the Marina at the Reserve Harbor Yacht Club.

Sommer and I had such a great time walking around the Marina taking pictures of this beautiful couple that we didn't want to go to the reception! We literally could have shot them all day! As you can see by the handful of our favorites below, they are perfect "models" as they can be serious and romantic, and then BUST OUT with the biggest smile as they laugh at each other! (You can almost "hear" Hannah's laugh in a few of the pics!)

Even though the reception lasted only until 6:30 that evening, it was neat to know that Hannah and Reggi "Rang in the New Year" as Mr. and Mrs. Reggi Beasley!

Congratulations Guys! We TRULY had a great time with you and your families!
